Cheyne completed her Bachelors of Athletic and Exercise Therapy at Camosun College in Victoria, British Columbia, and has been a Certified Athletic Therapist since 2016. Prior to joining Evolution Sport Therapy, Cheyne was the Athletic Therapist working with competitive Taekwondo athletes at Cascadia Martial Arts in 2015-2016. Being an athlete herself, Cheyne has played a variety of sports as well as earning her black belt in Shotokan Karate. She specializes in lower body acute/chronic pain, such as chronic back pain and ACL repair rehabilitation. She believes that effective treatment includes patient understanding of the injury and full body treatment. Cheyne uses a combination of manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation exercises to help promote the bodies healing process, and reduce risk of future injury.
