Betsy completed her Bachelors of Athletic and Exercise Therapy in 2017 Camosun College. Prior to her Athletic Therapy training she obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University in 2008.
Having represented Team Canada on several occasions, Betsy is a decorated national level athlete: -Team Canada Co-ed beach ultimate frisbee - France 2017, Silver medal - Team Canada Masters Women’s ultimate frisbee - Dubai 2015, Silver Medal - Team Canada Women’s ultimate frisbee 2008, 2012, 2016 - Bronze medal finish.
Betsy excels in the treatment and rehabilitation of sacro ilac joint dysfunction, lumbo pelvic instability, as well as injuries of the shoulders , knees and ankle. Her approach is a balance of manual therapy and rehabilitative exercises including modalities such as cupping, fascial abrasion technique, myo fascial release, soft tissue release, shockwave, ultrasound and electrotherapy.
